It Razes

It's felt–
Something that burns
Somewhere
Above the navel.
At this point
I hear you
Speaking in a fire
That razes me
Like a heartburn.

This fire,
Untamable,
Burns incessantly.
Sometimes its tongues
Grow like a mountain
And sometimes
It calms down
Into a sea
That's always raging
With the initial burn.

Some truths,
Unspoken,
Bear a gravity
So enormous,
As you say.
My beautiful Petals,
Please forgive me
For seeking
Your helping hand
In unleashing it
Where it abides
Imprisoned
Inside our soul.

Do you remember
Those moments
When I get stuck?
Do you recall
How your hand,
So able,
Takes us
To that beautiful end?
Last night,
All I longed for
Was your able hand.

I shall still go on
Seeking from you
A helping hand
And see
If the unceasing fire
Shall one day
Be one I can touch.
Probably,
There's a hug
That awaits
Which shall heal
This pain.
Only you
Shall heal it
That fateful day
The infernal tongues
That reside in me.

This soul here
Yields tears
In that one
As we navigate
The unreached depths
Of the night.
I promise you,
My Petals,
That never will it
Cause tears of heartbreak
But of affection.

Maybe these tears
Are a testament
Of a razing affection.
Perhaps,
The answer we seek,
Is what they convey.
That caged thing
We'd dare not say
Perhaps,
Has come out,
Rolling down our cheeks.
Probably,
I've been,
Through those rivers,
Flowing down
Below your eyes,
Kissing your cheeks.
